"Welcome again Blood Bowl fans for another exciting day of Blood Bowl! Jim Johnson here with my co-host, Bob Bifford, to cover the match up between the Black Plague Bashers and the Antioch Knights."
"Should be a good one Jim. Both formidable looking for a spot in the finals. The Knights have had a great run, but pound for pound, those Bashers are a tough nut to crack. I can't wait to see that Beast of Nurgle scarf down some humans."
"The Beast is a monster, but what about the Knights blitzers? They have been on point the last two week, sending players down to the turf in a heap."
"It's gonna be a good one and here's the kick! That's a coffin kick for sure!"
"I beg your pardon Bob, but what's that supposed to mean?!"
"Oh don't be so sensitive Jim. I just mean that by the time he fetches the ball, he's probably going to be dead!"
"Right you are! That pestigor has the ball and he's moving back up to join the rest of his team. They are formingup a solid offense but, ouch that had to hurt!"
"He tried to slip the blitzer and wound up eating more grass than a nervous beastman! Classic Blood Bowl!"
"The Knights see the weak point in the defense, and here comes the rabbits and the blitzers! Lancelot has a solid push, but here comes the Beast of Caerbannog for the down!"
"We've said it before Jim, but the rabbits are dynamite. The Rabbit has the ball and is flying towards the endzone with the steal. Looks like Knights, 1-0."
"The Bashers have the ball and seen to be drigving it down the pitch. The fans appear to be chanting something....Score in Four? What on Earth or they talking about?"
"Oh Jim, sometimes I forget how little you know. Those Bashers fans want them to tie up this game before the half. That Beast has just been lackluster so far. He's just laying there roaring!"
"He's making quite the scene. And here comes Minstrel's boot to help quiet him down. It's a foul folks!"
"It's not a foul Jim. The ref didn't see it, so perfectly legal!"
"The Knights have set up a bit of a trap on the side. He'll have to dodge away for it....oh but the pressures too much and they force him down to the pitch. The Basher's drive has ended in no score, making this 1-0 Knights at the half."
"Here comes the second half and the Bashers need a solid score to even up this game. Here comes the kick, and the Knights have it. Arthur's moving to get the ball, and it slips right through his fingers! Sloppy."
"He was worried about those pestigors, Bob. Several of them were knocked out last half but, they are incredibly fast when they want to be, and those horns hurt!"
"It's certainly no fun to find one of those points working up main street. Arthurs decided to ignore the ball and here's a heavy block! He didn't see that one coming!"
"No he didn't! The Knights have the ball and are making their way up the sideline. A pestigor is trying to hold them off, but here come Galahad! There's the shoulder check and he's in the stands!"
"We have some of the best fans Jim. Look how they are pummeling him into the bleachers. Thats dedication folks. We appreciate it."
"Yes we do Bob. They have ball in scoring range, and there it is, touchdown Knights. 2-0"
"Looks like the Knights are partying a bit too much! He just catcalled that cheerleader....and she's laid him flat! Looks like no Bedevere for this drive. I love a girl with spirit!"
"Now Bob, you saw what happened. Do you feel like you could really fare any better?"
"I have something he doesn't have Jim. Style."
"Oh bother. Back to the action, the Bashers have the ball. Looks like the Knights are playing dow due to the celebrations. The Knights are trying to hold them off. Oh no."
"Ha ha ha. The look on his face when that bloater laid him out: I shoulda stayed home. He's on his way to the dungeons."
"And there goes another one Bob! Knights dropping like flies! Speaking of which, you can definately tell a Nurgle team is here. I just ate another one!"
"They are a dirty lot, but you can't ask for better fan favorites! And there is is Jim, touchdown Bashers!"
"And there's the buzzer amrking the end of the match. Knights win this one 2-1, but what a game!"
"The Bashers looked terrible in the first half, but they seemed to find their stride late Jim. It will be exciting to see these teams meet-up again as they continue to play for the Tavernbowl!"
